Day 1 Paris

In the words of Audrey Hepburn, 'Paris is always a good idea'. Wander the winding streets of Montmartre to Sacre Coeur for panoramic views of the 'City of Love'. Otherwise, simply grab a baguette, some cheese and a bottle of wine, and lay down a picnic blanket beneath the Eiffel Tower as the sun sets.

Days 2-3 Tours

Venture into the Loire Valley, a region renowned for its wealth of art, history and medieval houses. Cycle to the breathtaking Chateau Villandry and take a walk through its manicured Renaissance gardens.

Stop by a winery, explore a chateau, feast on France's internationally acclaimed cuisines or hike the 243 steps for a view from Saint-Michel Basilica's tower.

Days 8-9 Pyrenees

Head into the spectacular Pyrenees Mountains. Take in crisp mountain air and awe-inspiring views while enjoying a day of hiking.

Days 10-11 San Sebastian

France meets Spain at this culinary hub. Head to a pintox bar to sample some bite sized delights, then walk off the calories around the hilly mountainside. If time permits, visit the aquarium, take an easy stroll around the coast to the statue of Christ or wax your board and attempt a wave in Spain’s best surf.

Days 12-13 Segovia

Day 16 Salamanca
