Day 1 Amboise

Travel to the stunning Loire region of France, the ideal setting for a cycling holiday. Discover the rich, medieval history that lives in the streets of Amboise, a town nestled on the banks of the Loire River. Visit the resting place of Leonardo da Vinci inside the majestic Amboise Castle or indulge in the many gastronomic delights of the region including fragrant Coq au Vin.

Day 2 Cour-Cheverny

Cycle along country roads and through sleepy, rural hamlets such as Sologne on the road to Cour-Cheverny. Admire the turreted rooftop of the Chateau de Fougeres-sur-Bievre and visit a fascinating 19th-century public laundry.

Day 3 Chaumont-sur-Loire

Take the scenic route cycling via the village of Bracieux and check out the breathtaking Chateau de Chambord - often referred to as the 'masterpiece of the Renaissance'. Or perhaps choose to embark on a shorter cycle along the Beuvron River to Les Montils to witness its quaint, old houses and ancient stone archway. Visit the 11th-century Chateau de Chaumont.

Day 4 Amboise

Enjoy a final bike ride across the bountiful Loire Valley to reach another jewel of the region, Chateau de Chenonceau. Admire the most romantic of all the Loire chateaux that sits majestically on the edge of Cher River, with its stunning impression reflected in the still water below. Appreciate the Renaissance influence of the current facade, resplendent with ornate archways and high turrets. Enjoy open, rolling scenery while travelling back to Amboise, where the tour comes full circle.
