Days 1-2 Barcelona

Explore Catalonia‘s capital city and be dazzled by its impressive display of Gothic architecture, thriving art scene and the delectable aromas floating from a variety of local streetside restaurants. Afterwards, get carried away by Barcelona's lively nightlife.

Days 5-7 Paris

Paris is a city impossible to forget. From historical treasures and incredible museums, to iconic monuments and world-famous cuisine, Paris is sure to steal your heart. Stroll the cobbled lanes between the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, browse the beautiful boutiques or just sit riverside and admire the way the afternoon sun lights up the Seine.

Day 8 Luxembourg

Don't let Luxembourg's size fool you, this city packs an impressive cultural wallop. Stroll the cobbled streets of the Unesco-listed Old Town, visit the many galleries and museums, and wander along the promenade of Chemin de la Corniche, said to be 'Europe's most beautiful balcony'.

Days 9-10 Brussels

Discover Brussels' old-world charm in the bustling 15th-century Grand Place. Afterwards, perhaps peruse the world's largest collection of surrealist works by Rene Magritte, eat as many waffles as you possibly can or check out the cheeky Manneken Pis fountain-statue.

Travel across the border into Amsterdam, an instantly likeable city famous for its wealth of culture, charming canals, friendly locals and lively nightlife. Arrive in Krakow and head down to Rynek Glowny for a spot of people-watching or seek out some solace in St Mary’s Church. Days 22-23 Vienna

Travel to Vienna and discover a city with a vibrant artistic soul. Art lovers will relish the abundance of quality museums while for history buffs, the fascinating story of the Habsburg family can be revealed on a visit to two of Austria's most stunning palaces, Hofburg and Schonbrunn. Perhaps enjoy the dulcet tones of operatic performers at a nighttime theatre show.

Days 24-25 Budapest

Budapest has experienced something of a renaissance since the lifting of the Iron Curtain. Maybe hire a bike and explore the grand boulevards, climb Gellert Hill for spectacular views of the Danube, sample rich Hungarian food or freak out at the House of Terror.

Days 31-32 Cinque Terre

Travel to the Cinque Terre and be revitalised by the fresh sea breeze that drifts in off the Mediterranean. Days 33-34 Florence

Be captivated by the culture-rich atmosphere of Florence, from family-run vineyards on the outskirts of the city to the Duomo’s magnificent marble facade.
