Venture into the incredible Masai Mara National Reserve for a full-day game drive
Keep your eyes peeled for black and white rhinoceroses on an adventure through Lake Nakuru National Park
Get a taste of Nairobi, an exciting, cosmopolitan city of sterling restaurants, cafes and museums
You'll be in excellent hands for the duration of your trip, travelling with a crew of three experienced locals – a leader, driver and cook
In Loita Hills (Day 5) you will stay in a bush camp with no shower facilities. The rewards of experiencing the Maasai culture, however, should more than make up for the lack of creature comforts.
Our purpose-built overland vehicles allow for excellent game viewing, equipped with large sliding windows. They have no air-conditioning, however, so they can get dusty and hot at times.
The going can be slow over the long distances and often bumpy roads. A little bit of patience will go a long way towards your enjoyment of this beautiful land!
This is a participatory camping trip – everyone will embrace the team spirit by helping with camp setup, food preparation and cleaning.

I very much enjoyed the trip and the crew were great. A couple of camp sites were a bit substandard in bathroom facilities. Knowing the cost structure in Kenya and what was included in the trip, I thought the tour price was high.

My first time in Kenya and I can't wait to go back again! I traveled in May (typically meant to be low season) but we were lucky enough to see 4 of the big 5 (plus so many more!) Our guides, Queenter and Gilbert were fantastic and their knowledge of not just the wildlife but in general was great, we learnt a lot! and hats off to our chef Issa, some of the best food I've eaten. Would thoroughly recommend this trip - if you're a fan of camping and don't mind missing out on the odd luxury here and there then this is definitely a trip worth doing.
