As there are potholes and cobblestones in many Eastern European cities, it's recommended that you leave any wheelie bags/cases at home and bring a backpack instead.
Summer temperatures can be extreme in many of the regions visited (over 40°C), which can be uncomfortable. It’s important to use sun protection, wear layers to combat the heat and drink plenty of water. Please carefully consider the time of the year you wish to travel and your suitability to that season. Please note that only some of our hotels will have air-conditioning, and is virtually non-existent on public transport.
As accommodation on this trip is multi-share, single travellers will share a room with other travellers of the same sex. This trip is a great opportunity to get to know other like-minded people, so embrace it while you can. Also, hotels in Europe often don't have double beds, but rather two single beds that can be pushed together/apart. Rooms can be rather small, especially compared to American or Australian standards, and in most cases bathroom facilities will be shared rather than en-suite. Please note that a single supplement is not available on this trip.

Our Dubrovnik to Venice trips score an average of 4.25 out of 5 based on 4 reviews in the last year.
This tour has a fantastic itinerary however make sure you know what you are paying for. Accomodation and transport are very basic and you don't get the cultural and historical background you would from a traditional your guide. Overall not great value for money.

I did this trip + Budapest & The Balkans before it. Having seen some of the more well known European cities previously I was looking for something a bit different and this trip hit the spot perfectly. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but generally the scenery is dramatic and gorgeous, and I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of getting around. The evening has a special feel in this part of the world too - the streets are crowded with people but not necessarily with the goal of getting drunk... just hanging out and enjoying themselves. I'd definitely consider returning in the future.
