This trip does involve some long travel days, so be prepared for some driving as you move through three countries. This is, of course, a great chance to take in all the varied scenery and snapshots of rural life.
In most locations you'll stay in simple tourist-class hotels (2–3 stars). They're always clean and comfortable.
Cambodia can get quite hot, so be prepared for some days of walking and sightseeing in the heat. Always carry plenty of water.

This is a great trip that gives you a real feel of Cambodia past and present. Although at time the trip is not easy - Killing Fields - it is full of wow moments - Angkor Wat. The inclusions are varied enough to give a flavour of Cambodia which you can augment with some great optional activities e.g. Bamboo train and cooking class. The accommodation is of a high standard throughout. There are many long journeys so be priepared. Also be prepared if you are travelling in August as it is extremely hot! Hope for Kom as your leader as he was fantastic.
