Days 1-2 Cairo

Days 3-4 Aswan

Situated on the banks of the Nile, the Nubian city of Aswan has been Egypt's southern gateway to Africa and an important trading centre since ancient times.

Day 5 Nile Felucca

Once the lifeblood of an ancient civilisation, cruise the iconic Nile on a traditional felucca and spend a night sleeping on deck under the stars.

Days 6-7 Luxor

From the spectacular temple complex of Karnak to the extraordinary hieroglyphs of the Valley of the Kings, Luxor is full of wonderfully preserved reminders of the Pharaohs.

Day 8 Alexandria

Fly to Amman in Jordan. One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Amman offers a fascinating mix of ancient sites and modern culture to explore.

Full of weird and beautiful lunar-like rock formations, Wadi Rum is home to some of the most sublime desert landscape on the planet.

Days 12-13 Petra

Hewn out of the rose-coloured rock face, the ancient city of Petra is one of the Middle East's most spectacular destinations.

Day 14 Dana Nature Reserve

Featuring a variety of stunning scenery and captivating wildlife, Dana Nature Reserve is a spectacularly unique ecosystem in the middle of the desert.

Days 15-17 Madaba

Famous for its Ottoman-style houses and beautiful Byzantine-era mosaics, the historical town of Madaba has a friendly village atmosphere.
