Day 64 Marsabit

Travel through dramatic landscapes and pass impressive termite mounds on the way to Marsabit. Spend time at the lovely Lake Paradise, which is a perfect place to spot animals such as elephants and buffaloes.

Days 65-66 Samburu National Reserve

Witness Samburu dancing and learn about tribal life from the locals. Try to spot the Big Five in Kenya's Samburu reserve.

Days 67-68 Naro Moru

Spend the night in a lodge on the slopes of Mt Kenya.

Days 69-70 Lake Nakuru

Spy iconic animals feeding around Nakuru lake.

Day 71 Lake Naivasha

See hippos wallowing on the shores of Lake Naivasha.

Days 72-75 Nairobi

The journey ends in the busy streets of Kenya's capital Nairobi.

Day 76 Mto Wa Mbu

Travel to Arusha, a pleasant town from which many safaris in Tanzania begin. Camp in a Tanzanian village and spend the next morning exploring the village in free time.

Days 77-78 Ngorongoro Crater/Serengeti National Park

Descend to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater to spot rhinos, elephants and zebras, before heading out across the Serengeti plains to enjoy camping and game drives.

Day 79 Mto Wa Mbu

Farewell the magnificent Serengeti and travel back to Mto Wa Mbu village. Walk around the farming areas on a guided tour, visit a local school and peruse colourful crafts at a local market.

Day 80 Marangu

Camp amid tropical gardens on the slopes of mighty Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 81 Dar es Salaam

Pitch tents on a beach just outside the coastal city of Dar es Salaam.

Days 82-84 Zanzibar

Be enchanted by exotic spice plantations, ornate architecture and beachside sunsets in Zanzibar. Stone Town offers a unique mixture of shops, bazaars, mosques, markets and palaces - enjoy walking the twisting alleyways which reveal hidden treasures and sensory pleasures. Be sure to sample a spicy seafood curry.

Day 85 Dar es Salaam

Return to the mainland by ferry and stay at a beachside camp near Dar es Salaam.

Days 86-87 Iringa/Chitimba

Travel through the Mikumi National Park where giraffes are often seen munching on acacia foliage and spend a night in the highland town of Iringa. Cross the border in Malawi and set up camp in Chitimba.

Days 88-89 Lake Malawi

Travel south to vast Lake Malawi, which covers roughly a fifth of the country. Relax on the beach and meet friendly Malawians.

Days 90-91 Lilongwe/Nyamapanda

Soak up the cafe culture in Lilongwe city, the capital of Malawi, before enjoying a change of pace in a tiny Zimbabwean village.

Day 92 Harare

Explore galleries, museums and gardens in Harare.

Day 93 Masvingo

Visit the Great Zimbabwe Ruins and discover some of the most significant ancient ruins in Africa.

Days 94-95 Bulawayo

Peruse the many markets in the city of Bulawayo before venturing out into Matobo National Park in search of rare rhinos.

Day 96 Hwange National Park

Hwange National Park has been transformed from royal hunting grounds into a sanctuary for some of Africa's most precious animals. Keep watch for elephants on a game drive through the park.

Days 97-99 Victoria Falls

Witness the tremendous power of Victoria Falls as torrents of water cascade into the canyon below. As this tour of Africa draws to an end, share a final dinner with new friends.

Days 100-101 Chobe National Park

Enjoy exciting game drives in Botswana's Chobe National Park and cruise along the Chobe River.

Day 102 Bagani Community Camp

Travel into Namibia. Perhaps relax with a boat trip.

Days 103-104 Okavango Delta

Discover the watery wildlife haven of the Okavango Delta by mokoro, a dugout canoe poled along by a local guide. Camp on a remote island and fall asleep to the nocturnal music of the delta.

Days 105-106 Bagani Community Camp/Rundu

The African adventure leads back to Bagani before travelling to Rundu.

Day 107 Grootfontein/San Bushmen

Meet the San Bushmen of the Kalahari and observe their age-old traditions.

Days 108-109 Etosha National Park

Roam Etosha Park's dry plains, perhaps encountering elephants, antelopes and big cats.

Day 110 Spitzkoppe

Watch the rock formations of Spitzkoppe change colour with the light.

Days 111-113 Swakopmund

See the seal colonies of Cape Cross and perhaps try skydiving, quad-biking or sandboarding in Swakopmund.

Days 114-115 Sesriem/River Camp

Wake before dawn and scramble to the top of the dunes before exploring ancient rock formations in the Giant's Playground.
