Travel to Quito and get to know this vibrant city. Perhaps spend the day wandering the winding, narrow streets of the World Heritage-listed old town or visit one of the many beautiful churches dotted around the city.
Day 2 Isla Santa Cruz / Puerto Ayora / Charles Darwin Station
It’s time to travel to Galapagos! Santa Cruz is the Galapagos's second largest island and home to the Charles Darwin Research Station, a compelling place to explore. See giant tortoises and spend the evening cruising through the pristine Galapagos waters towards San Cristobal.
Day 3 Isla San Cristobal
Learn about the fascinating history and geography of the Galapagos Islands, and spend some time hiking, swimming or snorkelling off the beautiful beaches of Cerro Brujo.
Day 4 Isla Espanola / Bahia Gardner / Punta Suarez
Cruise the azure waters surrounding Espanola, spotting albatross, turtles and the famous blue-footed boobies. Relax on the white-sand beaches of Bahia Gardiner or perhaps grab a snorkel and mask and see the beauty of the Galapagos from underwater.
Day 5 Isla Floreana / Post Office Bay / Punta Cormorant
See sea lions lazing on olive-green sands, pink flamingos standing one-legged in lagoons and a myriad of birds splashing the landscape in colour. Visit the famous Post Office Bay and become part of history by taking a letter to post when back home.
Days 6-7 Caleta Tortuga Negra / Isla Baltra / Quito
Explore the mangroves of Caleta Tortuga Negra where green turtles, golden rays and Galapagos sharks make their home. Farewell the beautiful Galapagos Islands and return to Quito, perhaps celebrating the adventure with a final group dinner.
