Travel into the dense Amazon Jungle for an unforgettable stay at an eco lodge in the upper Amazon Basin, a location that, due to its proximity to the Andes, is rich in tropical, humid forests - one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world. If time permits, enjoy a stop at Papallacta's hot springs for a reinvigorating soak in the thermal pools. Travel by canoe along the Napo River to reach a butterfly farm. Here, learn about the life cycle of some of the hundreds of colourful species living in the surrounding rainforest. Pay a visit to a local indigenous family to find out about their culture and traditions. Take guided walks through the Amazon's secondary forests and learn how local plants are used for medicinal purposes.
