From Quito to the Galapagos and back, this is a wildlife fanatic’s dream

Wild and remote, there is no place quite like the Galapagos Islands. It is the range of diversity in such a small area that makes this archipelago a truly special and world-renowned place. From the endangered giant tortoise who can live for more than 100 years old, to the clumsy blue-footed booby who dances for a mate, this fascinating set of islands has long been enchanting its visitors. Like the Hollywood of the animal kingdom, go into paparazzi-mode for the Sally Lightfoot crabs, flightless cormorants, Darwin’s finches and marine iguanas while travelling around this impressive corner of the world.

  • Succumb to the flavours of Quito’s daring street food
  • Set sail around the world’s most isolated archipelago
  • Hike up Isabela’s gurgling Sierra Negra
  • Greet a 100-year-old tortoise
  • Snap a shot of the archipelagos’ most fierce looking herbivore, the marine iguana
  • Chill out on beaches of red, white and black sands
