Day 1 Split/Hvar

Welcome to the golden shores of Croatia. Begin the adventure in the stunning city of Split. Take a walk around the Unesco World Heritage-listed Old Quarter, which was born out of the remains of Diocletian’s Palace. Enjoy a scrumptious dinner in a city restaurant before jumping on a ferry to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. Known as the ‘Queen of the Dalmatian Islands’, Hvar is a breathtaking place to explore. Picturesque cobbled streets, winding staircases, and a castle standing high above the city are just some of the treasures to discover. Take to the countryside and walk along rugged limestone cliffs, past gnarled olive groves and over rolling fields. The next morning, jump on a bike and ride along undulating country roads to discover small villages and charming countryside.

Day 3 Korcula

Ride along sometimes steep coastal paths to the port of Sucuraj. Cycle alongside cerulean waters, past quaint vineyards and take in the scenery of the island’s mountainous interior. Then board a ferry to the mainland, bus it to Orebic and again set sail to Korcula on another awesome ferry ride. From its delightful beaches to its captivating Old Town, Korkula is a wonderful place to spend some time. Relax in town, getting to know all its nooks and crannies, or visit the island of Mljet with its famed national park and lovely lakes that are perfect to cycle around. Spend the next day riding to the enthralling village of Smokvica before making tracks to Pupnat for lunch. Ride the afternoon away on the return to Korkula, the hills will be steep but are worth it for the spectacular scenery.

Day 6 Dubrovnik

Catch the ferry to the Peljesac Peninsula then return to the saddle and ride past olive groves, vineyards and sleepy villages all the way to the sea. From here, be driven to the spectacular city of Dubrovnik via Ston, a fortified town nestled among verdant hills and the sea. Be blown away by Dubrovnik city, a remarkable place for its old-world architecture, captivating history, excellent cuisine and seaside beauty. Spend a free day exploring at leisure. Perhaps wander the city walls, get in some serious lazing on a nearby beach, visit some of the city’s fascinating museums, indulge in a long seafood lunch or enjoy wandering the cobbled streets in search of enticing shops and enchanting churches. The next day it is time to say farewell to this cycling adventure along the unforgettable Dalmatian Coast.
