Days 7-8 Arenal Volcano

A quaint town surrounded by verdant plains and set against one of the most incredible backdrops imaginable, Arenal never fails to beguile. Take in the cooler climate and changing vegetation on the climb into coffee country. Days 11-13 Manuel Antonio National Park

Follow the Pan-American Highway southward, passing mangroves and palm plantations, to the Costa Rican coast. Soak up some rays and relish the spoils of this unique beach setting, where lush rainforests sprawl gently towards the sand and white-faced capuchin monkeys peer cheekily from the treetops.
