Day 1 San Jose

Days 2-3 La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano

Sitting in the shadow of Costa Rica's majestic Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna offers steaming hot springs and endless outdoor activities.

Days 4-5 Monteverde

Monteverde's Cloud Forest Reserve is a true nature lover's paradise. Lush, green and teeming with colourful butterflies, unique plants and exotic creatures.

Days 6-7 Manuel Antonio National Park

Boasting abundant wildlife, turquoise water and white-sand beaches, Manuel Antonio National Park is a beautiful place to explore by land or sea.

Days 8-9 San Jose

Set in the heart of Costa Rica's fertile Central Valley, San Jose buzzes with colour, culture and the spirit of its friendly residents.

Days 10-11 Puerto Viejo

Travel out to the Caribbean coastal town of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and explore Cahuita National Park. In spare time, drop by a permaculture farm to learn about sustainable farming practices or hire a surfboard and hit the waves..

Days 12-13 Tortuguero National Park

Drive on to Tortuguero National Park, a vast area of coastal wetlands. Home to reptiles, amphibians and a myriad of bird species, it is also the chosen nesting ground of green sea turtles. When night falls, set out on a guided walking tour in search of these endangered creatures.

Days 14-15 San Jose

Return to San Jose for the final night of this Costa Rican adventure. Why not head out as a group to one of the fine local restaurants and remember the highlights of the trip over a few Imperial beers.
