in loving memory of bryceson
Bryceson Hassan Kimali was one of PEAK East Africa’s long-serving cooks and a much-loved member of the team working on East African and South African trips. He was born on 22 February, 1964, in Arusha, Tanzania. He joined PEAK East Africa Limited, when it was then known as Guerba Kenya Limited, in 1996 as a cook, a role that also doubles as a Camp Master.
Bryceson was hard working and always pleasant to work with. He had a very polite way of doing things and was always looking for something to do. He was softly spoken, yet always straight to the point. His preferred mode of dressing was a t-shirt, a pair of shorts and rafters, especially while on safari. His colleagues describe him as a cheerful and outgoing person, who respected his peers and loved his work.
Sadly Bryceson passed away on 17 March, 2012, after a long illness. He was buried at Kigongoni, Mto Wa Mbu, Tanzania, and leaves behind a widow and five Children.
We, the PEAK East Africa family, Intrepid Travel and all those who have had the pleasure of knowing this remarkable man will greatly miss him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
