Travel to China and embark on an exciting journey from Beijing to Kunming. Visit iconic sights such as the Great Wall of China and the Terracotta Warriors and head out into the vast plains of Inner Mongolia to spend a night in the desert. Throw in the modern cities of Xi'an and Chengdu, add the diversity of China’s colourful minority groups and perhaps even come face-to-face with a giant panda. Adventure awaits us around every corner as we take the back roads to Kunming.

Beijing has a long and colourful history and this rapidly modernising city is an amazing whirl of ancient sites, modern buildings, bicycles, people, shops and eateries.
Days 5-7 Zhongwei/Camel Trek
Zhongwei is a unique city situated in the Ningxia province. The Yellow River, green farmland, sweeping desert and remnants of the Great Wall are all located nearby.
Days 8-10 Xi'an
As the start of the ancient trading route the Silk Road and an imperial centre for 2,000 years, Xi'an has a fascinating history and rich cultural sites to discover.
Days 11-13 Chengdu
Chengdu has plenty of traditional flavour with its famous tea houses, numerous markets and as the home of Sichuan cuisine, known the world over for its spiciness.
Days 14-15 Kunming
A laidback city to visit, Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province and is known as 'the city of eternal spring' due to its temperate climate.
