Hike through the glacier-filled wilds of Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine is no run-of-the-mill national park. It could be argued that it’s the godfather of South American national parks, and it doesn’t take much to see why. Watching over this parque nacional is its namesake: three granite pillars towering some 2,800 metres into the sky. With the Paine Grande and Los Cuernos peaks residing either side of these magnificent spires, it’s clear from the get go that when it comes to unique, dramatic landscapes, Torres del Paine’s is second to none. Set against the backdrop of this stunning area, this hiking expedition – led by a knowledgeable and friendly local guide - blazes its own trial and takes in the best Torres del Paine has to offer. Hike over steppe passes, around electric-blue lakes, through lush forests, next to gigantic glaciers and get sprayed by wondrous waterfalls – and that’s just on day one. A trip of a lifetime for experienced hikers and newbies alike; there really is no better way to see Torres del Paine than on foot.
