Cruise the sea of the limestone karst studded Halong Bay

See Vietnam and Cambodia through an exciting mix of transport, including motorbike, basket boat, dragon boat, junk boat, bus and train
Two of this trip are spent on overnight sleeper trains with journeys of up to 12 hours. Although the conditions are basic and you'll be sharing a compartment with four to six people, this is the best way to maximise your time spent at various destinations.
This trip does involve some long travel days by bus and day train, so be prepared for some driving as you move through three countries. This is, of course, a great chance to take in all the varied scenery and snapshots of rural life.
This trip involves a lot of walking - on city walking tours and during included activities. While being on your feet can be a bit tiring, this is the best way to truly get under the skin of a place
The weather in Vietnam and Cambodia can be hot and sticky, particularly during the monsoon seasons, so ensure that you pack accordingly. Always carry plenty of water.
1. Please provide full passport details 45 days prior to departure in order to secure Vietnam train tickets.
2. A Single Supplement to have your own room is available on this trip and excludes nights 3 (Overnight Boat), 4, 10 & 12 (Overnight Train) and all included day use rooms where you will be in shared accommodation.
3. 2018 ITINERARY CHANGES: From 1st Jan 2018 this trip will visit a homestay in Da Bac, instead of Mai Chau. Additionally the tour will no longer visit Nha Trang, to save on travelling time and to add more time in other destinations. There will be an night in the Mekong Delta on Day 13, in extension to the current day tour.
