1. This trip starts with a Welcome Meeting in Delhi on day 1 at 1pm.
2. A single supplement is available on this trip and is applicable for all nights with the exception of the overnight train.
3. The main dome on the Taj Mahal will undergo mud pack therapy due to begin in April 2017. It is likely the entire dome will be obscured by iron scaffolding. Portions of the white marble façade will be covered in mud and plastic sheets during the cleaning process. The restorations will be carried out in sections and the work on the dome is expected to last one year.

Absolutely loved this tour, it was a massive culture shock but wonderful.

The Delhi to Kathmandu overland trip is unique as it visits four major centres of Indian civilisation and then goes into Nepal and visits a National Park. We experienced some wonderful sights including the Taj Mahal in late afternoon, the mystical Ganges in Varanasi and an early morning flight around Mt Everest. Thank you Intrepid
