Arrive in Boston, a forward-thinking, energetic city with a rich academic and cultural heritage. Leave the city behind and make tracks for Maine’s remote Baxter State Park, located at the Northern end of the Appalachian Mountains and a great place to jump in a canoe or enjoy a scenic flight over Mt Kadahdin – Maine’s highest peak.

Cross into Canada and be fascinated by the shifting tides of Fundy National Park, a peculiar mix of tidal flats and conifer-covered highlands. Embark on a relaxed hike and keep an eye out for moose, deer, racoons, coyotes and even the elusive black bear.

Leave Nova Scotia behind and catch a ferry across the Bay of Fundy to the city of St John.

Cross back into the USA and explore Acadia National Park, New England’s pride and joy. Situated on a series of rocky coastal islands, Acadia is best enjoyed by mountain-biking along the rugged coastline or exploring hidden caves in a sea kayak.
