Boasting some of the country's most pristine wilderness, Wells Gray Provincial Park is a gem in Canada's crown. By day, perhaps explore the area by canoe or horseback then spend evenings toasting s'mores by the fire at a cowboy ranch.
Travel to Vancouver and enjoy this picturesque city on a bike ride through Stanley Park.
Travel to Mt Robson Provincial Park, home to the highest mountains in the Canadian Rockies. Continue to Jasper and experience a sense of sublime wonder while camping among ancient mountains and mesmerising blue lakes.
Venture through the breathtaking Icefields Parkway on the way to Banff. Opt to ride an ice-mobile on the Athabasca Glacier and stop by the chateau at fairytale Lake Louise for a hot drink and some of the most incredible vistas on the planet. A playground for outdoor enthusiasts, Banff has plenty of scenic hiking trails and natural hot springs to while away the hours.
Get pulses racing on an optional whitewater rafting trip on the churning Kicking Horse River in Yoho National Park. Visit the amazing Takakkaw Falls and travel through dramatic parkland to the town of Golden.
The icy landscapes of Glacier National Park are extraordinary. Admire some of the 400 glaciers on show before heading to Mt Revelstoke. An afternoon hike offers a great opportunity to see it up close.
Located at the meeting of the Fraser and Coquihalla rivers, Hope, the chainsaw-carving capital of Canada, is speckled with curious statues depicting eagles, bears and cougars.
Take a ferry to Vancouver Island. Perhaps join a whale-watching tour in Tofino. Visit Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, to see quaint English gardens or spend an afternoon in a waterfront beer garden.
Spend some time exploring the charming capital of British Colombia. For a great local experience, take a ride in on of the 'bathtub' ferries and enjoy a tasty meal and great views of the harbour.

Important notes

Please note some changes to this trip from June 2013. We are still starting and ending in Vancouver.
Slight change to direction of tour. We will visit Victoria and Vancouver Island at the start of the trip (not the end). This means we can do a loop and avoid transiting back through Vancouver. Adding another night in Whistler and the Canoe trip in Wells Gray as above. We will not be staying in Revelstoke. There will be no change to number of days.
