Cambodia Discovery SummaryAdd to Shortlist
Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is an exciting and dynamic city brimming with street vendors, cyclos, temples, shops and colonial architecture.
Phnom Penh celebrates life with optimism and colour, and there are a wealth of riverside eateries, bustling markets and historic sites - both tragic and inspiring - to discover.
Sitting close to the greenery and beauty of the Kirirom National Park, Chambok provides serenity, an abundance of nature and a taste of traditional Khmer life.
Sihanoukville - or Kompong Som to locals - is a small port town with long stretches of beach and beautiful, sleepy islands just off the coast.
Sitting on the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers, Phnom Penh is buzzing with modern life, while still retaining some of its French Colonial heritage.
Situated on the mighty Mekong, Kompong Cham retains the charm of traditional Cambodia. Sit back and relax into its peaceful nature, French flavour and Khmer heritage.
A vibrant nightlife, mouth-watering food, a time-worn French feel and certain famous temples on its doorstep - Siem Reap is a little town with a big, pulsating heart. Immense, awe-inspiring, extraordinary - the Angkor Wat temples are all this and much more. Built in the 12th century, this former Khmer city is nothing short of spectacular.
Loud, bright, chaotic and delightful, Bangkok is a city of modern excesses intermingled with simple traditions, all wrapped up in the famous smiles of the locals.

Cambodia Discovery, June 2014
A good, fun & memorable experience. Have come away knowing more about Cambodia & its people & history. Well planned tour & itinerary & very well organised along the way by our tour leader, everything ran very smoothly & we were well informed prior to each leg of the journey. In the time we had I think we saw a lot of the main places & covered a lot of ground We loved Jay as a tour leader. He was open, friendly, happy, approacable & enthusiastic. He shared so much information regarding Cambodia and the way of life there. He was happy to join in with the group for dinners etc and share time with us but he was also respectful of our down time or when some of us did not want to join in with certain things. Jay was well liked by all, he was always there to answer any questions, or help with any issues any of us were facing with our trip, roooms or general travel hiccups. We knew we were in good hands with Jay and that any problems that arose would be handled efficienty & calmly (like our mini bus breaking down) I am certain that each day & each leg of the journey involved quite a lot of organising for Jay but it all ran very smoothly, we were always at the bus on time, any transport was ready when required, border crossings all went smoothly and we were given plenty of information about each crossing prior, hotel rooms were ready when we arrived etc... He didnt overload us with too much information at a time, but it was always given in an understandable way & at the appropriate time when needed. I cant say enough about Jay as a tour leader, he was very professional within his role & we were very appreciative that we had him as our leader & he helped make our trip through Cambodia the succesful & memorable trip that it was. We wish Jay all the best for his future and hope his succeeds in whatever he does as he has such wonderful personal qualities!

Cambodia Discovery, May 2014
I have been on a number of Sth American Intrepid tours that I enjoyed more than this one Bun was satisfactory however from past experience he could have been more approachable when asked about activities when no Intrepid options offered. Also more local knowledge and directions eg local map would have been helpful. Perhaps this is just the nature of his culture. He did everything expected as far as travel and accom but just not very interested in anything out of the box
