Argentina Tours & Vacations

Leafy vineyards, eclectic galleries, char-grilled barbecue evenings and epic waterfalls make for one big tantalizing adventure.

From saucy cities brimming with bars to monster waterfalls and all the steak you can eat, Argentina promises (and delivers) good times to all who come. Drink to a good drop in Mendoza, be blown away by the aquatic thundering of Iguazu Falls, take a gondola up a mountain in Salta, or lose yourself to some hip shakin’ nights in the bars of Buenos Aires all the way to Rio de Janeiro. It’s hard to imagine the continent of South America (or the world) without that flaming wedge known as Argentina.

Best of Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil

Leeann · Traveled March 2024
This is a fantastic trip that gives a superb overview of life in both Argentina and Uruguay (we spent very little time in Brazil and really none at all in Rio). Luciano was a wonderful group leader and the group gelled (sp?) well and quickly. We had a blast! Herding cattle on horseback at the ranch and wandering through the rainforest at Iguazu and getting soaked in the boat ride there were highlights for me. There are some very long travel days but it was worth it. Again, no time in Buenos Aires nor in Rio so just know that and add a few days (or the Buenos Aires Short Break and Rio Short Break that Intrepid offers). Otherwise you’ll miss the gem that is Buenos Aires and iconic Rio de Janeiro. Enjoy!!

Buenos Aires Short Break

Leeann · Traveled March 2024
This trip is a perfect way to begin a trip to Buenos Aires or Argentina generally. A great balance of time on my own to explore, and a city tour with guide and the asado dinner. Both the city tour with Marianna and Diego, and the asado dinner on the rooftop terrace were fabulous. I love Buenos Aires!

Classic Hikes of Patagonia

Yulia · Traveled March 2024
Well-organized trip through amazing Patagonian scenery! The hikes provided great highlights of the landscape and views. Our journey was made special by incredibly knowledgeable and caring tour leader Agustin Galetto who shared so many interesting facts, his enthusiasm for the region was inspring! We felt support of Augustin at each step and he accomodated various requests of the group so that our journey was very smooth and enjoyable.

Best of Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil

Great trip which covers off a lot of amazing places to visit over 3 countries in a short space of time. Good range of optional activities but be aware there isn’t a lot of time in Buenos Aires or Rio so would suggest booking an extra day(s) either side.
