Days 1-2 Salvador da Bahia
Arrive in Brazil's original capital city and discover cobbled streets and colourful buildings. Historic Salvador is world-renowned for mouth-watering food, lively music and for hosting flamboyant festivals.

Discover the unique landscape, flora and fauna of Chapada Diamantina National Park on a guided expedition. Take the chance to go trekking through the beautiful landscape inside the park.

Days 6-7 Terra Ronca/Cavalcante
Explore the vast and mysterious cave system at Terra Ronca on a guided tour. Visit a local community at Kalunga.

Days 8-10 Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park
Drive to Chapada dos Veadeiros for exploration and adventure in this magnificent national park, famous for its large quantities of quartz crystal in the soil. Stop to admire the many spectacular waterfalls flowing into the River Preto.

Days 11-12 Brasilia
Take a city tour of Brasilia - the futuristic, Oscar Niemeyer designed capital which is a feat of modern design and architectural ingenuity. Don't miss the chance to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, shaped in a crown of thorns with angels suspended from the ceiling or perhaps head up to the television tower to take in views of Brasilia.

Day 13 Bush Camp
Travel through the ever-changing landscape of Brazil's countryside and set up camp in remote woodlands.

Journey south through the Brazilian countryside and watch as the rocky landscape rolls by. Camp under the night sky in Terasopolis.

Day 17 Rio de Janeiro
Nestled between Guanabara Bay and lush mountains, Rio de Janeiro's allure is intoxicating. Catch a live music show in Santa Teresa, join a favela tour, visit the lush Jardim Botanico or watch the sunset at Ipanema beach - with a refreshing agua de coco (coconut water) in hand. A night on the tiles experiencing Rio's acclaimed nightlife is a great way to cap off the tour!
