Day 1 Carioca Experience

Head straight for some of the best known beaches in the world, Copacabana and Ipanema. Learn some of Rio's history at the Copacabana Fort before continuing to Arpoador Beach, a favourite with local surfers. Leave the rhythm of the waves behind and explore the bustling markets and restaurants of Gal. Osorio Square. Why not indulge in a tasty capirinha at one of the upbeat bars that attract patrons long after the sun goes down.

Day 2 City Tour

Set out on an afternoon tour of some of Rio's famous attractions, beginning with the grandest of all, Christ the Redeemer, that stands almost 40 m tall, looking out over the city. Follow a local guide through the city's modern architecture on the way to Santa Teresa, a neighbourhood overflowing with the authentic culture and atmosphere of Brazil. See the popular artwork that is the Selaron steps on the way up to Sugar Loaf Mountain, the perfect place to take in stunning city vistas before ending the tour back at your hotel, perhaps with a traditional Brazilian barbecue.
