Days 8-10 Bonito

Days 11-13 Pantanal

Set off on an adventure through the world's largest wetland area, the Southern Pantanal. Tour through the wilderness spotting birds and trying to glimpse sleek predators hunting prey.

Day 14 Brotas

The tiny town of Brotas is a magnet for adventure sports fans and the ideal place to enjoy optional canyoning and whitewater rafting in untouched, natural environments.

Days 15-17 Paraty

While away the hours with a walk along Brazil's beautiful secluded beaches at Paraty. Island hop on a local boat ride or explore the depths of the crystal clear waters on a scuba diving excursion.

Days 18-19 Rio de Janeiro

Resting in the luminous Guanabara Bay and backed by lush mountains, Rio is a breathtaking city filled with the beat of music and the rhythm of samba. Rio attractions range from a visit to the famous Christ the Redeemer, spotting luminous budgie-smugglers on Copacabana beach or razzing it up at a street party.

Days 20-23 Rio de Janeiro

Take a break from travelling and settle in for a few days in Rio. This bubbly city is full of entertainment and culture to enjoy. Explore or relax at your own discretion before rejoining the Intrepid adventure.

Day 24 Rio de Janeiro

Nestled between Guanabara Bay and lush mountains, Rio de Janeiro's allure is intoxicating. Catch a live music show in Santa Teresa, join a favela tour, visit the lush Jardim Botanico or watch the sunset at Ipanema beach - with a refreshing agua de coco (coconut water) in hand. A night on the tiles experiencing Rio's acclaimed nightlife is a great way to kick off the tour!

Day 25 Petropolis/Teresopolis

Visit the town of Petropolis en route to Teresopolis.

Days 29-30 Brasilia

Take a city tour of Brasilia - the futuristic, Oscar Niemeyer designed capital which is a feat of modern design and architectural ingenuity. Don't miss the chance to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, shaped in a crown of thorns with angels suspended from the ceiling or perhaps head up to the television tower to take in views of Brasilia.

Days 31-33 Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park

Drive to Chapada dos Veadeiros for exploration and adventure in this magnificent national park, famous for its large quantities of quartz crystal in the soil. Stop to admire the many spectacular waterfalls flowing into the River Preto.
