Day 1 Johannesburg

Jump into the electric beat of South Africa’s pulsating capital. Perhaps spend some time getting to know Soweto or discovering one of the city’s many museums.

Days 2-3 Kruger National Park

Make a stop at the remarkable Blyde River Canyon en route to Kruger. Discover the thrill of game drives and keep eyes peeled for all the incredible wildlife that lives within the park’s boundaries. The most amazing thing about Kruger is how easy it is to see animals like elephants, lions, zebra, giraffe, rhino and wildebeast enjoying their natural habitat.

Day 4 Mokopane

After an early morning game drive, head north to the Limpopo region and the town of Mokopane. Set up camp on a working cattle farm and enjoy the hospitality of local villagers, getting to experience the area’s traditional way of life and delicious cuisine.

Day 5 Nata

Travel through the wilderness of northern Botswana to Nata. Explore the eerie Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, located on the edge of the Kalahari Desert, and camp under the endless night sky.

Days 6-7 Victoria Falls

Make tracks to Zimbabwe and the incredible ‘Smoke that Thunders’ – Victoria Falls. See torrents of water roaring into a deep chasm and just try to avoid the spray that forms rainbows in the air. Explore the falls from all angles and perhaps take advantage of the incredible array of adventure activities on offer in this alluring part of Africa.

Day 8 Chobe National Park

Travel to Botswana and embark on an afternoon cruise along the Chobe River. Try to spot wallowing hippos and basking crocodiles before watching the sun melt into the horizon over the grassy plains. There's plenty of time in the Chobe National Park to spot the magnificent elephants this reserve is famous for.

Day 9 Maun

Journey to the gateway of the Okavango Delta; Maun.

Days 10-12 Okavango Delta/Maun

Guided by local polers, explore the delta’s snaking waterways in a traditional mokoro canoe, the perfect way to witness the abundant wildlife that lives here. Spend the night camping on a remote island surrounding by the sounds of nocturnal life.

Day 13 Khama Rhino Sanctuary

A sanctuary founded to protect Botswana’s endangered black and white rhino population, the Khama Rhino Sanctuary is not only a great way to see a huge number of animals up close on a game drive, it is an inspiring place that also helps the local community.

Days 14-15 Soweto/Johannesburg

Return to South Africa and jump on a bike to explore Soweto, an infamous Johannesburg neighbourhood that is the heart of this city, and learn about its tumultuous history. Spend time in the museums, restaurants and parks of this vibrant city before farewelling this incredible southern African adventure.
