Travel to Bolivia and hit the Witches' Market in La Paz for everything from ponchos to potions and leather goods to lucky charms.
Take a 4x4 tour of the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni, stopping off at the amazing red Laguna Colorado.
Descend deep underground and crawl through tight spaces on an optional tour of one of Potosi's famed mines - an experience not for the faint-hearted.
Travel to Bolivia's capital Sucre. Check out the ornate interior of the Iglesia de la Merced, one of the oldest churches in South America.
The city of Santa Cruz has white, arcaded streets and is a great end to the trip through Bolivia.
Travel to Brazil and discover the Pantanal, the world's largest wetland area. A variety of wildlife call this place home, so keep an eye out for howler monkeys, giant otters and anteaters.
During free time, perhaps check out the local natural aquarium or explore a network of caves, including one which conceals the underground Blue Lagoon.
Take the option to view the incredible Iguazu Falls from both Brazil and Argentina. Get up close to feel the power of the 270 thundering waterfalls that span two km.
Stroll the cobbled streets of World Heritage listed Paraty.
Sip caipirinhas, hike a forest trail, snooze in the sun or swim in the warm waters on this island getaway.
Say goodbye to Brazil as you soak up the vibe in Rio de Janeiro. Perhaps end the adventure with a cable car ride up Sugarloaf Mountain to take in the view from the feet of Christ the Redeemer.
