Is tipping customary in Belgium?

Restaurants will include a service fee within the bill and tipping extra is generally left up to the discretion of the consumer. Rounding up the bill or leaving spare change is commonplace if the service has been good. Feel free to tip more if the service has been exemplary or if you’re feeling generous.

What is the internet access like in Belgium?

ATMs are very common in Belgium, so finding one won't be a problem in most towns and cities.

Do I need to purchase travel insurance before travelling in Belgium?

Do I need a visa to travel to Belgium?

Visas are the responsibility of the individual traveller. The visa requirements for your trip vary depending on where you are from and where you are going. As a general rule most countries expect that you will have at least 6 months' validity on your passport. On arrival visitors may be asked to present return tickets and evidence of means to cover your intended stay.
