Tassie Explorer Itinerary

Farewell city life and travel west through the Derwent Valley. Stop at the stunning Russell Falls and Mt Field National Park. Gaze out over Lake St Clair, Australia’s deepest lake, before continuing on to Strahan for the night.

Spend the day at Cradle Mountain exploring some of the numerous walks within this World Heritage listed national park. Take a stroll around Dove Lake, or head off to test your lungs with a hike to Marion's Lookout.

Soak up the coastal scenery from Bicheno to St Helens. Stretch legs and revitalise senses on a peaceful walk at the Bay of Fires. Explore rainforests and visit St Columba Falls, before heading into the leafy city of Launceston.

Explore the Freycinet Peninsula and hike to Wineglass Bay, voted one of the world's top ten beaches. This beach is loved as much by the sun-seeking wallabies as it is by the local surfers. For the active, there's the option for further exploration of this pristine area in a kayak. Later we head back to Hobart where our trip ends.
