Hervey Bay is known as the whale-watching capital of Australia - humpbacks spend time in this area during their annual migration north from Antartica.
Day 2 Fraser Island
The largest sand island in the world, Fraser Island is an idyllic location with crystal-clear lakes, pristine rainforests and fabulous flora and fauna.
Day 3 Fraser Island/Hervey Bay
With kilometres of pristine beaches, fantastic weather and a lively social scene, Hervey Bay has something for everyone.
Days 4-5 Lady Elliot Island
Sitting at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Elliot Island is renowned for excellent diving and snorkelling due to its clear waters and abundant marine life.
Day 6 Hervey Bay
Located on the beautiful Fraser Coast, Hervey Bay is about 300 km north of Brisbane.
