Day 1 Alice Springs/Kata Tjuta/Uluru

Welcome to Alice Springs, the Red Centre’s dusty, character-filled heart. Hike through the Valley of the Winds and watch the sun set over Uluru.

Day 2 Uluru/Kings Canyon

Wake early to watch the rising sun bathe the world's biggest rock in colour. Gain a deeper appreciation of Uluru's significance to the local indigenous culture on a cultural interpretive walk with an Aboriginal guide. Drop into the Aboriginal Cultural Centre to admire traditional indigenous arts and crafts before heading on to our exclusive campsite in Watarrka National Park.

Day 3 Kings Canyon/Alice Springs

Grab your hiking shoes and explore the remarkable formations and towering rock faces that make up Kings Canyon. Trek out to the alluring Amphitheatre, the Lost City, the lush and ancient Garden of Eden and the dramatic North and South Walls.

Day 5 Alice Springs/Devils Marbles (Karlu Karlu)/Daly Waters

Head north, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, to the sacred site of Karlu Karlu (Devils Marbles). Stopping off for lunch at Tennant Creek, we then continue on to the one pub town of Daly Waters – our resting place for the night.

Day 6 Katherine Gorge/Darwin

Make tracks to Nitmiluk National Park. Embark on a short hike up to Baruwei Lookout for exceptional views out over Katherine Gorge, then stop in for a quick dip at Edith Falls before making the remainder of the journey to Darwin.

Day 7 Darwin/Litchfield/Mary River

Trade the urban heat of Darwin for the cool swimming holes of Litchfield National Park. Get a special welcome to the Wulna Country from the Limilngan-Wulna people, and gain an insight into local Indigenous culture.

Day 8 Mary River/Kakadu

Admire the ancient Aboriginal rock paintings of Ubirr, which are thousands of years old. Ascend the Nardab Floodplain for astonishing views over East Alligator River, then reward your efforts with a splash in the plunge pools of Maguk (Barramundi Gorge).

Day 9 Kakadu/Darwin

Venture into Kakadu National Park, arguably the Northern Territory's premier National Park. Size up the towering Jim Jim Falls, perhaps taking a dip at its base, then continue on to Twin Falls for the chance to explore this spectacular gorge by boat. Tackle the 4x4 track back to Darwin, where this remarkable wilderness adventure comes to an end.
