Itinerary

Welcome to Alice Springs, the Red Centre's dusty, character-filled heart. Make tracks for Uluru, stopping by a camel farm en route for an optional ride on one of these intriguing creatures. Arrive in our permanent campsite at Yulara and check out the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta on a Valley of the Winds hike. Watch the colour of the rocks change, glass of sparkling in hand, as the Outback works one of its magical sunsets, then return to a home-cooked dinner at camp.
Wake early for the opportunity to witness a truly unforgettable sunrise over Uluru. View the rock from different vantage points and learn about one of the world's oldest living cultures on an interpretive walk led by a local indigenous guide. Browse Aboriginal arts and crafts at the Cultural Centre, then travel on to our exclusive campsite located within the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for another night camped under sparkling night skies.
Discover Australia's own Lost City and Garden of Eden on a 7km hike through the imposing Kings Canyon. Wander through the towering walls, crevices and plateaus of Watarrka, then cool off in one of the secluded rock pools contained within. Return to Kings Creek Station for a quick lunch before making the journey back to Alice Springs. Perhaps toast the end of this unforgettable outback adventure with a flavoursome Kangaroo Steak and cold 'frothie' (local lingo for a glass of beer).
