Day 1 Alice Springs/Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Welcome to Alice Springs, the Red Centre's dusty, character-filled heart. Make tracks for Uluru, stopping by a camel farm en route for an optional ride on one of these intriguing creatures. Arrive in our permanent campsite at Yulara and check out the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta on a Valley of the Winds hike. Watch the colour of the rocks change, glass of sparkling in hand, as the Outback works one of its magical sunsets, then return to a home-cooked dinner at camp.

Day 2 Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)/Kings Canyon

Wake early for the opportunity to witness a truly unforgettable sunrise over Uluru. View the rock from different vantage points and learn about one of the world's oldest living cultures on an interpretive walk led by a local indigenous guide. Browse Aboriginal arts and crafts at the Cultural Centre, then travel on to our exclusive campsite located within the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for another night camped under sparkling night skies.

Day 3 Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon)/Glen Helen

Hike between sheer cliffs and discover diverse plant species at Kings Canyon. The Garden of Eden rock pool and Lost City are particularly stunning areas to come across. After lunch, travel along the Mereenie Loop Track to the Outback oasis of Glen Helen. Cool off in a local waterhole or visit a traditional pub for an icy cold beer.

Day 4 Western MacDonnell Ranges/Alice Springs

Explore the rich earthy beauty of Ormiston Gorge on a hike through the Western MacDonnell Ranges before a 4WD adventure to Palm Valley. Then make tracks back to Alice Springs – it’s a long drive but the landscape’s got plenty of character. Perhaps spend a few extra days in this fascinating town, which has lots to offer despite its isolated location.
