Day 1 Yulara/Kata Tjuta/Uluru

Touch down in Yulara and drive out to Kata Tjuta – a colossal collection of ochre-coloured sandstone domes some 500 million years old. Explore this impressive site that's of sacred importance to the local Anangu people on a Valley of the Winds walk. Then return to camp and witness a fabulous Red Centre sunset unfold over dinner and a glass of sparkling wine.

After watching morning break over Uluru, set out on a walk around the base of the world's biggest rock. Learn about the history and customs of the site's traditional custodians, the Mala people, during a cultural interpretive walk with an Aboriginal guide and interpreter.
