Day 1 Perth/Horrocks

Western Australia's booming capital, Perth is a charming mix of parks, beaches, art galleries and restaurants offering delicious local produce and WA wines.

Day 2 Kalbarri National Park/Shark Bay

Kalbarri National Park is packed with spectacular geological features to explore, including Murchison Gorge, Nature's Window, The Loop and Z-Bend Gorge. A dazzling World Heritage site, Shark Bay is famous for its diverse marine life, particularly the bottlenose dolphins that swim close to shore at Monkey Mia.

Day 3 Monkey Mia/Coral Bay

The small town of Coral Bay is our base to discover the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef and its fantastic marine life.

Days 4-5 Exmouth

Located on a beautiful peninsula, Exmouth provides great access to Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park, Turquoise Bay and the historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse.

Days 6-8 Karijini National Park

Karijini National Park encompasses the Hamersley Ranges, some of the most unusual landforms on earth. Deep in its gorges you'll find cascading waterfalls and fresh waterholes.

Day 9 Pardoo Station

A working cattle station in the beautiful Pilbara region, Pardoo is a real outback treat.

Days 10-12 Broome

The coastline around Broome is a dazzling mix of colours - turquoise waters, red cliffs and Cable Beach's endless expanse of white sand.

Day 13 Broome/Windjana Gorge

Leave the hallmarks of civilisation behind once more as we set out on the open road into the heart of the Outback. Venture into the atmospheric Tunnel Creek, Western Australia's largest cave system, and better understand the historical importance of this geological network before setting up camp.

Day 14 Windjana Gorge/Gibb River Road

Meet friendly freshwater crocodiles while exploring the Windjana Gorge, then take an extensive journey into the heart of the Kimberly region. Later, spend the night camped out beneath a blanket of stars at Manning Gorge.

Day 15 Gibb River Road/El Questro

Travel from gorge to gorge along the Gibb River Road. The spectacular scenery along the way is sure to impress, as will camping at the famous El Questro Station.

Day 16 El Questro Station

Sprawling with plateaux and sprinkled with gorges, hiking around the El Questro station is a truly magical experience. Swim beneath a waterfall at Emma Gorge to cool off from a day of active hiking, then unwind at the famed Swinging Arm Bar with a frosty beer and hearty meal.

Days 17-18 Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Range)

Saddle up for a bumpy 4x4 ride through the red desert of Australia heading to Turkey Creek. Set up camp at Purnululu National Park, then spend a few days exploring the multicoloured rock formations scattered around the Bungle Bungles. Take a stroll through the dominant Echidna Chasm and be blown away by the imposing structures surrounding Cathedral Gorge. If an aerial view takes your fancy, why not go on a scenic helicopter ride for an all-encompassing perspective of the area.

Day 19 Bungle Bungles/Lake Argyle

Discover the radiant wildlife and scenic delights of Western Australia's Outback on a drive from the Bungle Bungles to Kununurra. Camp out next to Australia's largest artificial lake, Lake Argyle, and wake early to watch a phenomenal sunrise over the watery expanse.

Day 20 Lake Argyle/Katherine

Take a relaxed boat trip around Lake Argyle to learn a little more about this magical waterway. Take a dip in the lake, see native wildlife and admire the scenic 360-degree view of Australia's largest artificial lake.

Day 21 Darwin

With this outback adventure coming to an end, drive through the magnificent Katherine Gorge and plunge into the cool waters beneath Edith Falls. Wrap up this trip in Darwin, where artistic street markets, tropical beaches and glorious weather abound.
