Days 1-2 Cairo

Explore the streets of wonderfully chaotic Cairo, where old-world charm blends with a hubbub of activity to create a truly unique atmosphere. Visit the triangular brilliance of the ancient Pyramids and pause in awe of the incredible Sphinx.

Days 3-4 Alexandria

Founded by Alexander the Great in 331 BC, Alexandria is packed with architectural and cultural wonders, both ancient and modern.

Day 5 Aswan

Situated on the banks of the Nile, the Nubian city of Aswan has been Egypt's southern gateway to Africa and an important trading centre since ancient times.

Days 6-8 Nile Cruise

Built by Ramses II, the temples of Abu Simbel are an amazing spectacle to behold before a relaxing and inspiring cruise down the iconic River Nile.

Days 9-10 Luxor

From the spectacular temple complex of Karnak to the Valley of the Kings, Luxor is full of wonderfully preserved reminders of the Pharaohs.

Day 11 Cairo

With such iconic sights as the Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx to explore, Cairo offers a visual masterclass of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Day 12 Amman

Get to know the bustling and colourful capital of Jordan, a place where ancient and modern worlds collide. Perhaps visit some of the local cafes and bars and sample some delicious local food, or spend some time in an inspiring art gallery.

Day 13 Dead Sea

Stop off at Madaba and pay a visit to the 19th century Greek Othodox St. George’s Church, where the mosaic map offers the main attraction. Continue on towards the Dead Sea and witness the views from Mt. Nebo en route.

Days 14-15 Petra

Be amazed by Petra, one of the new Seven Wonders of the World and a true highlight of the trip. Explore the surrounds of this ancient site and perhaps embark on a challenging but rewarding walk up the steps to the Monastery.

Day 16 Aqaba

Discover the less well-known site of Little Petra, home to staggeringly beautiful 2000-year-old cave paintings. After lunch, make tracks to Aqaba – Jordan’s only sea port.

Day 17 Wadi Rum

Traverse some of the most sublime desert landscapes on the planet during a 4-hour 4WD safari. Discover lunar-like formations, traces of ancient civilisations, natural rock bridges and rocky peaks.

Days 18-19 Amman

Why not pick up some souvenirs to mark the end of this adventure, and perhaps visit the Roman Theatre to ensure the tour ends on a high note.
