Our Galapagos on a shoestring trips score an average of 4.77 out of 5 based on 91 reviews in the last year.
tip: There is a lot of getting on/off moving/rocking boats on this trip. It would be a challenging trip if you dont like the ocean/being on the water/snorkeling and arent good with unstable pathways and footings. Having said that - doing land tours are a significantly cheaper option then cruises that allow you to still see and experience the Galapagos "on a shoestring" in a magnificent way that also, unlike the cruise ships, directly supports the local economy and people. Highly recommend experiencing the experience. I stayed on after the tour to "fill in" some of the activities/islands that were not included.. Bartholome (swim with sealions and penguins!), North Seymour island, and Floreanas. After having already travelled through several islands with Intrepid I was well versed in how to continue on seeing the sights on my own to finish off my bucketlist sights for this unique part of the world.

This tour includes some essential excursions for the Galapagos while allowing enough free time for you to organise your own preferred activities during your stay. It allows you to have the comfort of a guide to show you around the three main islands but retains plenty of freedom for your short time in this incredible place. Book some time in the Galapagos yourself before and after the trip to make the most of an unforgettable trip.
