Day 1 Darwin/Katherine Region

A cosmopolitan city in Australia's tropical Top End, Darwin has a relaxed atmosphere and a fascinating multicultural population.

Day 2 Lake Argle

Visit Lake Argyle, Australia's largest expanse of freshwater. Covering more than 900 sq km, the lake is home to many native animals, including wallabies, crocodiles and rare birds. In the evening, set up camp and sleep under a blanket of dazzling stars.

Days 3-4 Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Ranges)

Purnululu National Park is home to the magnificent Bungle Bungles - unique orange and black-striped 'beehive' formations created by rivers over 20 million years.

Day 5 Bungle Bungles/El Questro

Spanning more than one million acres including the fiery-red cliffs of the Cockburn Ranges, El Questro Wilderness Park is one of the world's last unspoilt frontiers.

Day 6 El Questro Station

A former cattle route that stretches across the Kimberley, Gibb River Road passes many natural attractions, including the beautiful waterfalls and deep clear pools of Manning Gorge.

Day 7 Gibb River Road

Get off the Kimberley tourist trail and hunt down some secluded swimming spots with your guide. Spot animals while hiking through Manning Gorge and swim in a crystal-clear rock pool.

Day 8 Manning Gorge/Windjana Gorge

A true geological wonder, Windjana Gorge offers stunning natural beauty, freshwater crocodiles and local birdlife beneath towering walls rising 90m.

Day 9 Broome

Rich in bushranger history, travel to the Napier Range to learn a little more about these Aussie outlaws. Delve underground in Tunnel Creek, Western Australia's oldest cave system, and go for a walk with bats and stalactites overhead. Once in Broome, head to stunning Cable Beach to watch the sun sink below the horizon before this Darwin to Broome adventure comes to a close.
