Itinerary

Start this epic adventure in Ushuaia, the world's southernmost town. Travel to Tierra del Fuego National Park and see windswept plains, forests and swamplands.
Cross the Strait of Magellan and enter Chile, famous for its wine and seafood.
Spend time exploring the rugged expanse of Torres del Paine. Take in the scenery of vast plains punctuated by huge granite cliffs and spot flightless rhea birds and guanacos (the llama's rare, wild Andean cousin).
Cross back into Argentina and head to El Calafate for a trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most incredible tourist attractions in Argentina. This breathtaking blue expanse is one of the world's most accessible ice fields.
From El Chalten, the trekking capital of Argentina, explore the Los Glaciaries National Park. See Argentina's stunningly rugged mountains while trekking over glaciers and take in the view of the remarkable Mt Fitz Roy.
Vast creaking blue glaciers, towering mountains and glassy lakes dominate the horizon on the journey along the Chilean Fjord Coast. Camp in the Patagonian wilds amid the rugged beauty and isolation of one of the world's final frontiers.
Perhaps jump on a mountain bike or saddle up on a horse to explore the mountain resort area around Bariloche. Afterwards, spend some time sampling the region's famous chocolate.
Discover the wealth of adventure activities on offer amid the deep blue lakes and snow-capped peaks of volcanic Pucon. The Pucon Volcano keeps the thermal springs the perfect temperature for bathing, while the slopes of Villarica are ideal for hiking and horse riding.
Arrive in Santiago and delight in the restaurants, museums, and night-life of Chile's cosmopolitan capital. Perhaps take a tour of the Miguel Torres Winery and sample the various drops before toasting the end of this memorable adventure with a glass or two of the local specialty.
