Argentina & Brazil Explorer Itinerary
Days 1-2 Buenos Aires
Dive into the vivacious spirit of Latin life in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s stylishly rambunctious capital. A blend of European chic and Latin fieriness make this city a truly seductive place. Wander its funky neighbourhoods and discover colonial architecture, outdoor markets and delicious local cuisine. Hunt for antique treasures in a San Telmo shop or visit the grand and ornate Recoleta Cemetery. At night, dance the tango in a music milonga or indulge in an exquisite dinner of Argentine steak.
Days 3-4 Ibera wetlands
These wetlands cover an area the size of Belgium, so there’s plenty to explore. Roam the marshes, lagoons and grasslands, and keep an eye out for a rich array of wildlife: howler monkeys, otters, alligators, marsh deer, wolves and hundreds of species of birds all call the wetlands home.

Days 5-6 Iguazu Falls
Taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide, the sheer presence of the Iguazu Falls will blow your mind. It’s no wonder these mammoth falls are on the Unesco World Heritage list. Walk the foot trails of the national reserve and watch as rushes of water cascade over cliffs and mist rises through the rainforests. Both the Argentinean and Brazilian sides of the falls offer brilliant views.
Days 7-8 Rio de Janeiro
A local bus takes you to Rio de Janeiro, the festive heart of Brazil. Soak up the beauty of Guanabara Bay and its white-sand shores from the top of Corcovado. Check out the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches for a lively dose of the local scene, then head out on the town and lose yourself in the music-infused night-life. Samba, jazz, reggae, bossa nova – take your pick.

Argentina & Brazil Explorer, May 2014
Guido was an excellent tour leader. He had time for everyone and any questions we may have. He was a lot of fun and at the same he knows his responsibilities. I have done a few tours and Guido was one of the best I have seen as a tour leader.
