Day 1 Copenhagen

Revel in the upbeat atmosphere of Copenhagen and get ready for the icy adventure ahead.

Day 2 Embarkation Kangerlussuaq

Take a short flight to Greenland. Be welcomed onto the ship and set out to sea along one of Greenland’s longest fjords, which is a lovely introduction to the adventure.

Days 3-14 Exploring West Greenland

Head along Greenland’s stunning west coast. Experience life as a local on visits to small fishing villages; discover Inuit culture; get an understanding of the region’s Viking, Thule and whaling history and stop to see some archaeological sites; take Zodiacs trips to see glaciers, ice and wildlife; and be moved by this unparalleled Arctic environment. On board there are engrossing talks on the region’s wildlife, geography and history, lots of time to relax and take in the scenery and plenty of great food and company to enjoy.

Day 15 Disembarkation Kangerlussuaq/Copenhagen

Disembark in Kangerlussuaq and farewell the ship and Greenland, catching a flight to Copenhagen. Check into your hotel and perhaps get rid of your sea legs with a wander and dinner at one of Copenhagen’s fabulous restaurants.

Day 16 Copenhagen

This Greenland adventure ends today. Copenhagen is a great city to explore, so perhaps stay on a little longer and check out its excellent food, arts and sports scenes.
