Want to know what Overland travel really looks like?

We get a lot of questions about Overland travel, which is fair enough. It’s a big commitment. Basically Overland means a few weeks (or a few months) traversing a continent. You travel in a purpose built vehicle with up to 20 fellow passengers, camp in the wild, explore remote mountain valleys and visit places regular tourists will never see in a million years. It’s not a travel style for the faint of heart, but the rewards are huge. There aren’t many things left in the world that can be called a genuine Adventure, but this is one of them.

Our Overland trips are run through our sister company, Dragoman. The video below was taken on their Silk Road trip, a massive 96-day journey that passes through China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Caspian sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.
