It's a big old world out there and I want to see it all! I consider myself one of the lucky ones getting to talk about something that creates passion and inspiration everyday, the awesome world of travel....

Having worked in the travel industry for a few years I've been to, talked about, read about and dreamed of places all around the globe. There is so much to offer out there I often wonder why don't do it more? I love to talk with friends, family or pretty much anyone who will listen just how much I love what the world has to offer. Whether it's your dream to visit the mountains of Nepal, dance in Brazil, see the temples in Thailand or somewhere completely different I want to hear about it. I really believe travelling opens your mind to so many things, why not take a chance and let yourself experience it?

Where is your next adventure going to start? The team here wants to be a part of it!

Been around the world and I, I, I, I can't find my way home, or something like that. Anyways, I have a bug, one that I can't get rid of, but one that you'll be sure to catch indeed. This bug has made me find my parallel life in Brazil, where a BBQ and a cold beer are never too far away, whether you're in Rio on Copacabana beach ushering in the New Year dressed in white with around 2.5 million of your new best friends, or getting away from it all on Fernando de Noronha, a small Island just over an hour flight off the coast of Recife. This country will wrap you in its arms and never let you go.

Staying with the Portuguese theme, I had the privilege of exploring East Timor, a combination of many peoples, from the rein of the portuguese, Melanesians, Malay and Indonesians to now, what in English are called the East Timorese. Such an amazing and diverse country, and yet only a short flight from Darwin. Everything is here, your un-spoilt beaches, coral reefs just meters off the coast, not to mention the sea life. Despite its recent dark history, the locals will welcome you into their lives and hearts to share with you a genuine unforgettable experience.

There have been many other personal experiences I would love to share with you, sunsets over the Pagan temples and stupas of Bagan in Myanmar, the wondrous beauty that is Macchu Picchu, climbing Volcan Villarica in Chile, white water rafting down the Trisuli river in Nepal, or waterfalls cascading from Uluru during a massive down pour.

These are all out there, ready and waiting for you, but beware, once you get the bug, it will be with you for ever. Come in for a chat, you know you want to!

Being the first child of Swiss immigrants in Australia, travel was genetic from the beginning. Since then, travel is never far from my thoughts.

Obvoiusly there have been several trips to the homeland over the years and then farther afield. Eventually I started my travel career at a 'mainstream' agency, before the desire to associate with travellers a bit more like me was my call to Intrepid.

I would love to share with you my travels in North America: such as spotting Alaskan Orca from a seaplane, Europe: including walking the Italy's Cinque Terre, and Asia: skiing Japan's north island.

Intrepid has given me the chance to offer my clients experiences that are off the beaten track, a chance to be involved in communities and continue to support these areas even once they have left.

So drop into our office because:
Remember what Bilbo used to say: "It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."
