I moved to the UK so I could have more opportunities to travel the Northern Hemisphere. I've been working in the travel industry for more than 2 years and love to help people find their perfect holiday, and hearing about the great destinations of the world for my own travels.

Vietnam – the people, the culture, the scenery and the food!
 

How many countries have you visited?

Most recent adventure

Kenya – my first experience of Africa! Saw the big 5, ate some amazing food, had a camp fire with a local Maasai warrior and made some lasting memories.
 

Best travel memory

Halong Bay – the scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with 3000 or more incredible islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin, it is a must stop in Vietnam.
 

Best travel tips

Always have insurance, no matter how close the destination is to your doorstop. Oh and don’t forget the little things... like hair ties. It’s so annoying when you are travelling and not being able to tie your unwashed hair up!

 

Favourite food experience

A hangi in New Zealand. When food is cooked underground with hot coals, it gives the meal an unbelievable smoky flavour!
 

Any advice for people considering embarking on the trip of a lifetime

Make sure you have plenty of space on your camera!
 

Which country is next on your list to experience and why

Peru, because I have always wanted to go to Machu Picchu and play with some llamas!

Don’t hold back! The only thing to consider is how and when you’re going to do it, not if you’re going to do it!

I have been curious about Peru and its culture for years now - it’s time!
