Get active on our trip in Jordan (EXJ)
Day 1 Marrakech
Head to Djemaa el-Fna, the city's famous square, where musicians, acrobats and dancers all converge, turning the place into a living theatre at dusk. Get amidst the excitement on a walking tour of the Old Town.
Day 2 High Atlas Foothills Mountain Biking
Escape the clamour of Marrakech into the rural countryside of the Berbers, cycling across the Plateau de Kik. Take to the hills passing crop terraces, hidden villages and wonderful rock formations. Later, take a short hike to the village of Armed.
Days 3-4 High Atlas Trekking
Perched on a rocky outcrop, tranquil Armed is the base for the next two days. Enjoy a warm welcome from local hosts and after a good night's rest, embark on a scenic hike in the majestic Atlas Mountains. Afterwards, you can rejuvenate with a visit to a local hammam or just kick back on the terrace of our mountain gite.
Day 5 Ait Benhaddou
Explore the maze of alleyways in this World Heritage-listed kasbah, once an important stop for the caravans trading salt, gold, ivory and slaves. Then sit back by the pool to watch the red walls glow at sunset.
Day 6 Dades Gorge
Spend tonight in a nomad tent in the beautiful natural surrounds of Dades Gorge.
Day 7 Todra Gorge
Marvel at impressive limestone cliffs, discover bizarre rock formations and get up close to nature while hiking in the stunning Todra Gorge.
Days 8-9 Marrakech
Get lost in the tumult of the souqs, where competing merchants' cries create a special kind of symphony. Give in to the temptation of these lavish markets and bag yourself a souvenir or just sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
