Geography and Environment of Gibraltar

Blink and you’ll miss this 6 square kilometre territory. Once you’re there, the one thing you can’t miss is the Rock. This 426 m piece of limestone rises over the lowlands like a crown. Gibraltar has 12 km of coastline and is neighbours with Spain. Just 26 km away, over the Strait of Gibraltar, is Morocco and on a clear day North Africa is visible.
